One in Four American Adults Now Obese

 

On July 17 the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention released a report that found that the number of obese people in the U.S. increased by 2 percent between 2005 and 2007 and that now one in every four adults is obese (25.6 percent). And that doesn’t include people who are classified simply as “overweight.” Read more here.
